What we do
At Happy Life WellCare, we assist clients with living independently in their own homes or Residential Group Housing,. We do this by providing high quality independent living skills with training and independent community living support services to adults aged 18 and over, including individuals who are participants of Medical Assistance (MA) Waivered Services and Alternative Care (AC) programs. These programs include:
Brain Jury (BI)
Developmental Disabilities (DD)
Community Alternative Care (CAC)
Elderly Waiver (EW)
Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI)
We also offer the following services: Adult companion services; Homemaker; Personal support; In-home family support; Individualized home support with or without family training; Semi-living skills; Supported living services for adults.
Meet the Owner
Hello,
My Name is Margarita Walton. I am the Owner of Happy Life WellCare. I created this company out of a dream and a passion to assist others in living independently in their own homes. Early in my career, I was employed as an ILS case coordinator for an organization that provided services to adults with developmental disabilities. I loved the work that went into helping individuals to remain in their communities and I developed a bond with my clients. This turned into a passion and dedication.
While pursuing my dream, it was important for me to futher my education. I have a Masters degree in Nonprofit and Public Administration, a Masters degree in Elementary Education, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. I have lived my life helping, assisting, or educating others. My time spent as an Independent Living Skills Coordinator was very satisfying because I took pleasure in helping others by providing them with skills to live independent lives in their own communities. After a ton of work, this is my dream and passion coming to life. I am more than honored to be in a position to provide services to clients.
